This question came to me a couple hours after I had just finished watching Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
I started following the movie series after watching Ghost Protocol at my cousin’s place. After 29 years (the first movie came out in 1996!), the series has finally come to an end.
I thought about what Tom Cruise was leaving behind for us viewers: an amazing movie series that anyone can enjoy. The amazing stunts he’s done in each movie are incredible stories that we or he could share with future generations.
So some part of me thought – what legacy do I want to leave behind? What stories do I want to share? What will my legacy be if I currently live the way I am?
To be completely honest, I don’t know what my legacy looks like yet. My life has felt extremely dull and boring. This week was pretty mentally tough.
But when I get these opportunities to experience something exciting and fun, I am reminded of these questions that help me reorient my mind towards my goals. I hope to create something just as fun and exciting as the Mission: Impossible movies and have amazing stories to tell and teach from.

Quick review on The Final Reckoning
It was a fantastic movie! Highly recommend to watch. It helps if you’ve seen The Dead Reckoning first, but even if you haven’t, the stunts and fight scenes alone are enough to keep you hooked.
Bravo to Tom Cruise and the entire cast and crew for topping off the Mission: Impossible series with an exciting and thrilling final movie. I was literally breathing like Tom Cruise was during some of those underwater sequences. I mean…that whole submarine sequence was intense.
I’m still lowkey a little mad that they killed off Ilsa Faust in the previous movie. I can see why they did it after finishing this final movie, but a part of me was just…the romance! Give Ethan Hunt a little love. She was such a fierce character and a perfect match for him. It would’ve been the icing on the cake if he left with Ilsa at the end of The Final Reckoning.
Mission: Impossible 4 – Ghost Protocol was the first movie I watched in the franchise. I remember being so hyped that I went back and watched the first three. Since then, I’ve watched every Mission: Impossible movie in theaters.
